Saving Lives With Tactical Medical Treatment Facilities
Since the 1990s, Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) Systems have been fielded with the U.S. Army’s Forward Surgical Teams (FSTs), providing mobile medical facilities and hospital emergency incident command centers that could be deployed with troops in the combat zone. The shelters’ rapid erect/strike features allowed medical personnel to set up within minutes of arrival at a casualty collection point (CCP) to provide wounded warfighters with immediate access to life-saving trauma stabilization.
Today, DRASH Sheltering Systems are one of the standard systems in use by U.S. Military Aid Stations, FSTs and C-Meds throughout the United States and around the world.
