DHS SYSTEMS LLC LIMITED WARRANTY

Effective As Of January 1, 2011
DHS Systems LLC warrants that all DRASH® (Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter) products purchased hereunder will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of time shown in the Warranty Schedule below. This warranty shall be for the benefit of the original purchaser and shall inure to the benefit of any additional end users of the product, shall begin on the date of shipment to the original purchaser and extend for the period of time in the Warranty Schedule set forth below (but in no event in excess of that time).

WARRANTY SCHEDULE
Deployable Command & Control Equipment (DC2E): 24 Months with the following exceptions;

  • Deployable Command & Control Equipment (DC2E) Cables: 30 Days
  • Deployable Command & Control Equipment (DC2E) Lamps: 500 Hours / 90 Days (whichever occurs first)
  • Deployable Command & Control Equipment (DC2E) Touch Panels: 90 Days

The liability of DHS Systems LLC under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of any defective part or component due to a material defect or substandard workmanship. Damage due to excessive wear and tear, improper use or carelessness is not covered under this limited warranty.

This warranty is contingent upon a) proper operation of the equipment in accordance with the operation instructions provided and b) proper maintenance and care of the equipment in accordance with the operating instructions provided. Reasonable wear and tear is not covered by this warranty. On-site repair by purchaser, user or any other third party without prior approval from DHS Systems LLC will void this warranty.

Warranty claims must contain a detailed explanation of the defect and be supported by summary extracts of pertinent service and maintenance records if applicable. DHS Systems LLC shall have the right to examine the alleged defect and may require the claimant, at the claimants expense, to return the product for such an examination. If DHS Systems LLC’s personnel are required to visit the claimant’s site to confirm any alleged defect and the claim is not validated, all expenses for travel and accommodations shall be charged to the claimant.

Any warranty claims must be filed with DHS Systems LLC within 90 days after the alleged defect has been identified. All claims must be mailed or faxed to the following:

This warranty is the sole warranty provided for the products listed herein. DHS Systems LLC provides no other express or implied warranty with respect to these products (including but not limited to no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
