Saving Lives With Tactical Medical Treatment Facilities
For nearly 25 years, DRASH shelter systems have been fielded to U.S. Army Forward Surgical Teams (FSTs) as mobile medical facilities that can be deployed with troops directly in the combat zone. The shelters’ rapid erect/strike design has allowed medical personnel to set up within minutes of arrival and provide wounded warfighters with immediate access to life-saving trauma stabilization.
Now, customers have the option of choosing the added protection of XYTEX 500™. Embedded inside the shelter fabric, it offers 99.99% protection against microbes, mold, mildew and fungus. The nanotechnology consists of a microscopic bed of nano size spikes lie in wait to puncture the cell walls of invading microbes, killing them upon contact. XYTEX 500™ is permanent and does not fade over time providing a more aseptic or sterile like environment for patients and healthcare workers.
Today, DRASH remains one of the standard systems in use with U.S. Military Aid Stations, FSTs and C-Meds throughout the United States and around the world.
